IT's Show Time -Snoop Dogg's-
"Redemption of a Dogg"
As if he hasn't already made a staple in his long-lasting
career, Hip-Hop legend, actor, and talk-show host Snoop Dogg is set to hit the
stage for his theatrical debut, an autobiographical touring musical titled,
"Redemption of a Dogg."
The play was
penned by award winning writer, director and producer, Je’Caryous Johnson tells
the story of a young rap artist who in his rise to stardom is faced with
obstacles that force him to choose between his career and the love of his life.
He also faces even more challenges with his faith in God.
The Play features
music from Snoop's newest Gospel-inspired album "Bible of Love" as
well as some of his greatest hits. Co-starring alongside Snoop is R&B
singer Tamar Braxton.
The play kicked
off its first show in Houston, Texas at the Hobby Center on October 5. It is
currently touring to other states until November. BreakThrew Blog Will be checking
