Rapper Lil Peep died of a suspected overdose of Xanax

It appears emerging Rapper Lil Peep died of a suspected overdose of Xanax, a spokesperson for the Tucson, Arizona Police Department tells BTMB.

The Department Spokesperson tells BTMB that the late rapper's manager became concerned about Lil Peep's whereabouts on Wednesday night when the group he was with had not seen him in a while. There is absolutely no question that special media platforms and streaming services have given a world of opportunities to people from all over the world to showcase their music.

The way that Lil Pump, the once unknown SoundCloud rapper has been astronomical. His single Gucci Gang is climbing the charts fast in the hip-hop world and it shows no signs of slowing down at all.

Wiz Khalifa finally releasing new music

Wiz Khalifa

- Some artists seem to spend a lot of time laying quite low, but he has finally announced that there is new music coming soon. He has always been active as he has collaborated with a large number of artists and he is never entirely out of the spotlight, but this has probably been the longest we have seen him leave the mainstream news section.

Hopefully, the music he releases can break the common curse of being out of the game for a while. We all know that the longer an artist takes to release an album, the harder it is to make the music live up to the hype, but Wiz is talented enough to make it happen.

Marijuana farmers In California fear crops could go up in smoke

Northern California  — Marijuana farmers and dispensary owners across Northern California are nervously watching as wildfires burn through some of the state’s prime cannabis growing areas and destroy valuable crops, which could drive up prices for consumers across the country.
“This is right smack in the middle of people’s harvests,” said Eli Melrod, the CEO of Solful Dispensary in Sebastopol, in northern California. “It couldn’t have been worse timing, frankly.”
A single marijuana plant can be worth up to $5,000, but pot growers can’t get crop insurance like traditional farmers or the vintners whose grapevines tend to get most of the attention here.
Wildfires are burning across parts of Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties, which are known for both wine and marijuana, particularly among high-end consumers willing to pay a premium for the name.

Complicating matters: Marijuana farms are built in remote areas with poor road access and don’t necessarily appear on firefighters’ maps of buildings to be protected. The growers often live largely off the radar, without health insurance or access to traditional job support systems such as unemployment insurance. Black market growers may be reluctant to tell friends and family members of the losses they’ve suffered.
“It’s just sad that we live in this underground world where we can’t discuss the true extent of the damage,” said Jessica Lilga of Alta Supply, a statewide wholesale cannabis distribution based in Oakland. “All remaining growers who did not literally lose their crops will be affected.”
It’s unclear exactly how many people work in the cannabis industry in northern California and how many cultivation operations exist. Lilga said she’s aware of “thousands” of grow operations but was reluctant to speculate, given the industry’s secretive nature.
But any interruption could have widespread implications for American marijuana consumers, legal or otherwise.

Millions of Californians consume medical marijuana, but even more pot is illegally shipped across state lines for black markets around the U.S. California’s legal cannabis market is worth an estimated $2.76 billion, according to marijuana analytics firm New Frontier Data, while the state’s black market is worth $13.5 billion, according to GreenWave Advisors.

GreenWave estimates that nearly $11 billion worth of the state’s black-market cannabis is grown in Northern California, with a “significant” amount of that shipped to neighboring states. In comparison, the California wine industry is worth an estimated $114 billion nationally, although the two industries are hard to compare side-by-side because one is illegal.

Lilga, who lives in Santa Rosa, was evacuated herself when the wildfire ran over her neighborhood. She’s not sure she has a home to return to: “That cash that all these growers should be bringing in next month would help rebuild our burning cities if it were not all taken away.”

Lilga predicted that an otherwise good crop year means the state’s overall supply should be enough to meet demand without significantly impacting price. Still, many cannabis dispensaries and distributors are setting up GoFundMe accounts to help growers who have lost their crops.

JAY-Z Wants To Buy Harvey Weinstein's Stake In Weinstein Company

The report from TMZ states that JAY-Z wouldn’t be moving in on the stake alone, and that the buy-in would include “several other investors including a famous movie producer and a billionaire.
JAY-Z worked with the company to produce The Kalief Browder Story, and has also been in the process of producing a series about Trayvon Martin.

The Report is stating that JAY-Z is considering buying up now in the hot seat disgraced movie executive Harvey Weinstein’s 23% stake in The Weinstein Company.

Weinstein was fired from the board of the company he founded last week after many sexual abuse allegations.

Many major actresses, such as Cara Delevingne, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow have issued public statements about stories of sexual harassment regarding Weinstein. Other actresses have also alleged that Weinstein sexually assaulted them.

Reported: Las Vegas Gunman may have originally targeted festival headlined by Chance the Rapper

A music festival featuring Chance The Rapper may have been the Las Vegas gunman’s original target, according to the website The Daily Beast.

The Daily Beast says a “senior law enforcement source” reports Stephen Paddock may have initially targeted the “Life Is Beautiful”  music festival in Las Vegas the weekend of September 23rd.  Chance the Rapper and Lorde headlined that festival.

The Daily Beast says the source is not “directly involved in the investigation but has been briefed on its progress.”

The source says Paddock rented multiple condos overlooking the Life is Beautiful festival.
“The source suggested that Paddock may have lost his nerve or simply changed his plans and checked into the Mandalay Bay Hotel on September 28,” the Daily Beast reports.

At least 59 people were killed and 527 others injured in the shooting that started late Sunday night. Police believe the shooter, Paddock, killed himself before they entered his suite.

In his 32nd-floor hotel suite at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, police recovered 23 weapons, including a handgun, and multiple rifles — some had scopes on them. Authorities also found several pounds of ammonium nitrate, a material used to make explosives, in his car.

Police also searched the gunman’s home in Mesquite, Nevada, where they found at least 19 firearms, explosives, several thousand rounds of ammunition and some electronic devices.

As police uncovered more evidence, they’re still piecing together a motive.

Arrest Made in Young Dolph Los Angeles Shooting

An arrest has been made in the shooting that injured Young Dolph in Los Angeles yesterday. According to KTLA, a 43-year-old man named Corey McClendon has been booked by LAPD on suspicion of attempted murder.

LAPD Detective Meghan Aguilar says McClendon was arrested Tuesday (Sept. 27) near Highland Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard shortly after Dolph was shot in the valet parking area of the Loews Hotel.

At this time, it’s not clear whether McClendon was actually the shooter or simply one of the three men who got into an altercation with Dolph in the street before the shooting occurred. McClendon is currently being held on $1 million bail.

Police said yesterday Dolph and his crew got into an argument with three men outside the Loews Hotel in Hollywood. “They had an argument, which escalated to a physical fight,” Aguilar said. “At one point, Young Dolph was knocked to the ground. And then one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and began shooting at him.”

Following the shooting around 1:15 p.m. PDT yesterday, Dolph was rushed to emergency surgery. He is now said to be in “critical but stable” condition.

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck tells KABC-TV Dolph was “targeted because of who he is and some kind of beef that’s ongoing. I think this was something he brought with him from across the United States. The rivalry doesn’t stop just because they’re in California.”

TMZ reported Yo Gotti was a person of interest in the case, but the LAPD told BreakThrew New this morning that’s not true.

McClendon is, however, an affiliate of Gotti’s. Back in 2010, they were both arrested for a 2010 club shooting. Below is his mugshot.

Good Times with Rome

There’s a funny man that has been on the block for quite some time now whose name is Rome. Rome is 38 years of age from Brooklyn, New York. He has been making y’all laugh for over 15 years in the making. He started in New York and hit the stage for the first in the Military. Who knew that cracking jokes in the platoon will take you to the limelight.
Rome moved on doing film and television work like commercials and what have you. Having an open mind and nothing on his plate besides the Military that made him realize that he wanted to take the comedy route. All his comedy that makes you laugh comes from real life experience. To Rome that is where the true funny lies. Rome takes things he has gone through mixes it with his though and if you take his personality you get the funny man himself.
The biggest comedy influence on Rome is the ole so hysterical Chris Tucker. Rome enjoys Chris’ style and personality, as do we all. Dave Chappelle also came up in the interview as an influence. Kevin Hart in the opinion of Rome and all news outlets is the most successful in the comedy industry today. No one can compare to Rome’s love of Chris Tucker or mine.
Most importantly, Rome knows that he doesn’t sound like anyone else. Which is how one should think and believe. He says that when you start off you try to sound like someone else because you want to fit in. He admits that he tried it, but quickly came to his senses that…it wasn’t the way. It was not who he was nor who he wanted to be.
Who Rome is as an individual is what makes his comedy unique. There is truly no one like him. The way he brings it to the stage and makes everyone in the audience like as one. You step in the room and you feel welcome with Rome. His incredible personality that lights up a room even when he’s calling you out, makes you want more and never want to leave.
If you are having a bad day or a terrible week he will turn it all around. From the beginning to the end of every show there is never a dull or dry moment. He likes to go the opposite direction in his mind because just like everybody he sees things differently. As an audience member or someone in the crowd Rome hopes you get from his show that life should never be taken too seriously. With the tough times in life and throughout personal issues if you don’t take anything else with you take that you should allow yourself to laugh at it.
Rome has had to endure family issues, financial issues, and getting himself out there in life which all made the road a bit bumpier. He says that comedy is a very sensitive thing, which he is right about. He came to say that as a comedic you must believe in yourself and know what you have is funny. Rome thinks that you never get the love and support that you truly deserve which is what you battle with repeatedly, no matter how big your name is. At times, you feel rejected which is what you’ll deal with emotionally because sometimes what you say doesn’t get received correctly.
Stick with it even if you feel you are not worthy. Be persistent and consistent because everything has a time and a season. Look over rejection because it is being heard and well received. Being heard and getting booked for shows is a difficult endure Rome faces in the comedy industry. There is more to being funny.

If he could collaborate with Dave Chappelle and of course, Chris Tucker he would. That should even help him move his work to the top. He feels they are in tune with what he likes and his style. Rome is most proud of the longevity, Good Times, his standup comedy show. It has been going on for 2 years now. He is also most proud that he got a chance to tour internationally, The European Tour to be exact. In all that, he is most proud of his career and the shows he has done as well.
Rome is still here in the comedy business and clearly, he is not going anywhere. So, watch out now! Rome has audios for your pleasure being worked on as of now. So, be patient…good things come to those who wait. Check him out on Instagram at: romeskingdom, but prepare yourself for as he is getting ready to drop a thread of videos that will knock your socks off. You can see him every Tuesday at the Good Times Comedy Show around 8 o’clock pm at the Rumi CafĂ© Studio at 13368 Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks, California.
Things are unfolding, so get on board and enjoy the ride because Rome is taking over!
Watch out Kevin Hart!

Jay-Z confirms cheating on our Queen Bey

Jay-Z released his 13th solo studio album and 14th studio album on today… Friday, June 30, 2017. 4: 44 is the title of the album with extortionary guest features from Frank Ocean, Damian Marley, and Gloria Carter (Jay- Z’s mother). The album has been released as an exclusive for Tidal and Sprint customers. 4: 44 is the very first from the series of music that is planned to be released from the Tidal-Sprint partnership, exclusively. The hip hop album is trough Roc Nation while Jay-Z served as the executive producer and No I. D. as the co-executive.

Now one would think that because the album is the talk of town from trending on Twitter to tabloids that it’s because of critically acclaim artist behind it, Jay-Z. One also might think that it’s because of his raw and bare lyrics of life, family, friends, and the world in general. But, think again… all the talk is because Jay-Z admitted to cheating on the queen herself, BeyoncĂ©. I know, I know this is crazy because who would or would want to cheat on someone who is perfect that is BeyoncĂ©.

Jay-Z titled one of his tracks from the album 4: 44, 4: 44 because he said that he awoke at 4 o’clock in the morning around that time just to write the track on the album. Well, behold that is the track off the album that begun trending because fans went into a frenzy after hearing it. Fans were/are calling it his response to BeyoncĂ©’s Lemonade. A lot of the Beyhive didn’t want to believe that it was true, that this is true.

It’s crazy how much proof we need to realize that Jay-Z did cheat on BeyoncĂ©. From Solange beating his ass in the elevator to BeyoncĂ© releasing Lemonade. After all that we still all said “Nope, no way”. Now that he has come out to say that he cheated and brought it even further into the light, we believe it. He even said in the album that it took Blue being born for him to realize the values of his marriage.

BET Weekend Robbery... Under Supposition LiL Kim

LiL Kim under supposition with the LAPD after her crew allegedly robbed a woman over a Rental for BET Weekend party house.

LAPD enforcement sources let us know, Kim and associates rented a house for the weekend party but apparently the crib was not to her liking. They told us at 2am on Sunday morning that Kim and Associates went to check out the Crib, But did not like it and demanded their money back from either the property manager or owner.

They did not agree about its return an a argument erupted and LAPD was called. Cops arrived and told them to handle it; It was a civil matter and that they could not do nothing and LAPD left.

Sources told us that Kim and her Associates also left, but Sunday at 4 AM, a group of people showed up at the Rental Crib with weapons and ski masks on and took what they were after. The deposit check, some cash… all totaling at least $20k.  Sources also said they vandalize some cars in the process.

Police have launched a robbery investigation into the matter.
